
369 Boot Camp
The Love to Running 369 Boot camp is a 12-week training camp designed for novice runners and is held throughout the year.
As part of Love Running’s four major functional training camp systems, the 369 Boot camp helps participants improve their running ability through training, interaction, and mutual assistance.
The name of the camp refers to three running distance segments: a 3-mile starting point, a 6-mile novice long run, and a 9-mile half-marathon preparation. After completing the 9-mile distance, participants can graduate and move into higher-level half or full marathon camps to continue improving.
We welcome all running enthusiasts interested in our 369 camp to join us for a fun and fulfilling running experience. By achieving their goals, runners can make progress and become new members of the Love Running NYRR Club.
The First Race:
On May 1st, 2022, the members of The Camp attended their first 5K race at Highland Park. This exciting event attracted 23 participants, who were all members of the Camp community. Despite feeling nervous and anticipatory, all of the racers successfully completed the course and received cheers and congratulations from the supportive crowd. The race was a fantastic opportunity for members to challenge themselves, push past their limits, and demonstrate their hard work and dedication to their training. The Camp management expressed their pride and gratitude for the positive energy and camaraderie displayed by the participants and their families. As this was only the first race of many to come, The Camp community is looking forward to experiencing more thrilling and rewarding events and further growth and development of personal fitness and achievement.
