We invite you to celebrate the life and legacy of Jianxiang “Jesse” Liu, a cherished community leader, passionate runner, and devoted friend, husband, father, and son. Jesse touched the lives of many through his unwavering commitment to our community and his love for running. 

The Jesse Liu Memorial 5K Run/Walk is more than just a race; it’s a tribute to his spirit, dedication, and the positive impact he had on everyone around him. Whether you’re an avid runner or walking in honor of Jesse, your participation helps keep his memory alive and supports a cause dear to his heart.

The Orange Reservoir was one of Jesse’s favorite places to run. He nicknamed this place “北湖”, and since then, the name has been widely accepted by the running community. He frequently trained for his marathons with friends and family here, and after he got sick, he loved to walk here whenever he could.

Join us in commemorating Jesse’s life and continuing his legacy of community involvement and passion for running. Your participation in this 5K would have meant a lot to him. Together, we can make it a memorable event filled with love, laughter, and remembrance.
